The forces that shape education have increasingly moved away from the physical, instead relying on networks existing in a virtual reality. Within this speculative future of education, the virtual completely consumes the space of learning, relying on images and digital experience to shape education. This nontraditional space of learning uses the warehouse typology as a starting point, acknowledging it as a flexible space that’s able to accommodate unanticipated future uses, while adding on the infrastructure necessary to enable a digitally intense educational landscape.
