About

I’m a designer currently living in San Francisco. After graduating from the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan, I went on to work as an architectural designer in Detroit, where I helped to bring beautiful and technically brilliant design solutions to a range of clients. Now I am currently seeking opportunities which will help to further my design competencies while contributing meaningfully to projects which seek to actively shape the built environment.

I’m passionate about design both as a medium for topical exploration and speculation, as well as a tool for problem solving. Architecture and design should always be in the service of clients and stakeholders, and be used to enhance the lives of individuals, families, groups and communities. I believe that designers have an obligation to resist stagnation and go beyond the scope of their assignment to address the needs of the larger context in which they’re working. My goal as a designer is to operate within these larger contextual environments in order to create work that addresses pressing issues and advances the way we live.
